Pauline Weadick - Service Manager

Pauline Weadick gained valuable experience working as a trained nurse for over ten years in rehabilitation in the National Neurological Hospital in Queen Square London where the ultimate goal was enabling the client to return to their home living as independently as possible. It was here she encountered the multidiscipline approach in client care and recognised how the concept was wholly important in the successful provision and continuity of each individuals planned care.

On her return to Ireland she continued to develop her experience whilst nursing within the community and also became involved with community groups on a voluntary basis. In May 2000 Pauline took over the Management of the Arklow Home Help Service. (AHHS). She has overall responsibility for the management of the home based service reporting to the Board of management.

Pauline is on the live register of An Bord Altranais and holds certificates in Addiction Studies, Psychology, Counselling, Pre-school Care and Train the Trainer.
